We would like to welcome you and your family to our Nursery Ministry. We provide care for infants through preschoolers on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.

Our ministry looks forward to partnering with you to teach your child. Our nursery workers invest their love and time into caring for children ages birth through 3 years old. We have divided our nursery ministry into three areas.

Newborn through 18 months stay in our Infants, 19 months through 35 months stay in our Toddlers, and children 3 years old through kindergarten stay in our Weee Church.

Children in our Wee Church will be involved in a Christ-centered teaching program taught on his/her level of understanding. A Biblical foundation is laid through teaching your child about God, Jesus, the Bible, the church, self, others, and family. Stations are set-up to intrigue their hand-eye coordination.

When children arrive to our classrooms they are checked in under a number system. We ask that the parent(s) sign in the child and pickup their number tag that they will keep during service. Our classrooms sometimes hum with quiet activity. Sometimes they are loud and boisterous. But, that is ok! There’s learning going on! At Journey Church, Parents are Very Important! It is our desire to partner with each parent as we teach our children about Jesus. Parents are truly an integral part of our ministry.

Our Journey Nursery director is Sonya Mangrum. She has a great love for children and is dedicated to providing them with the best care. She is assisted by many other members of the Journey family that share her same love for children.
